Alliance Takes Over FlyToMoon in the Omega League Play-in Stage

Alliance Takes Over FlyToMoon in the Omega League Play-in Stage

An awaited match occurred recently, between FlyToMoon and Alliance, this after both of them didn’t have the best experiences in the OMEGA League Group Stage. Because they didn’t live up to the expectations, they had to clash in the Play-in Stage. But it still wasn’t easy for neither team in the different matches they played – one team had the advantage in the first match. Most people were cheering for Alliance, but the team didn’t have it easy, at least for the first part of the game.

Leading Up to the Fight

FlyToMoon had a better performance than most people anticipated. They went against Ninjas in Pyjamas and completely destroyed them in Group B. After their win, they faced Alliance, but they made too many bad moves – which is what led to a survival fight in the Immortal Division. As such, people were waiting to see the two teams go against each other.

Alliance vs FlyToMoon

Alliance wasn’t the best in the first game. In fact, they were terrible against FlyToMoon. They had Batrider and Tiny who were always roaming around, which is why Alliance couldn’t use Slark. Therefore, the CIS team has an advantage against the European once. Without their Slark, they would be at a disadvantage.

So, Alliance had to do their best to get ready for the 2nd match, and because they were successful the first time, FlyToMoon used the same combo. But Alliance learned from the first failure and came up with solutions.

Because they were able to make changes and take over their opponents, Alliance were the dominant team and ended up winning. It took them 23 minutes to be victorious.

For some reason, FlyToMoon didn’t allow many heroes that their Nikolay “Nikobaby” Nikolov is good at, which decreased their playing quality. Well, they managed to succeed, but Alliance still found a solution and were able to deal with the problems. Thanks to Simon “Handsken” Haag and Gustav “s4” Magnusson, the team was the one on top.

Alliance was able to take the lead though after some very entertaining fights occurred, so they ended up leading with a 1-2 score. Consequently, FlyToMoon will have to go to the Divine division now, which is bad news for the fans of the CIS team.

Final Thoughts

While FlyToMoon fans are disappointed, Alliance fans have a reason to be happy after the team’s success. Now it’s time to keep our eyes on the teams and see what they can do in the future.
